The secretariat of the Alliance for Offshore Renewables has the following main tasks:

To facilitate and perfect research and development projects within the field of offshore renewables

To strengthen network building and organise meetings and conferences for and with the participation of the members of the Alliance

To facilitate the preparation of funding applications to EU and Danish funds & foundations

To prepare material for the political work of the Alliance

To ensure that the secretariat is operational when it comes to attendance of meetings and cooperates with relevant national and international partners

The secretariat is located in Vejle, Denmark, and in Brussels, Belgium.

How to become a member

New members will be appointed by the board.

Business organisations, associations, research institutions, educational institutions, knowledge institutions, public authorities and their subjacent departments, centres, institutions, etc. that wish to promote the objective of the Alliance and work to advance the development within offshore renewables can be appointed.

Interested parties that seek membership should contact the secretariat which will subsequently present the application to the board.
